Julia?s vast array of colors and emotions can be depicted by her upbringing in the coastal city of Cartagena, Colombia. Throughout the ages, Cartagena?s collection of cultures and folklore has inspired numerous of Colombian artists? works of art. Here she developed a passion for color where she was inspired from the hues of the city?s romantic sunsets and shades of the Caribbean Sea, to its famous vibrant street architecture and its multi-racial ethnicity. Among all, her imaginative eyes were caught primarily by the luscious range of tints and shades. It was at this early age, that she found her infatuation for painting and began her career as an artist.
The vivid spirit, colors and happiness she grew up with continue to assist her in revealing her passions, emotions and feelings through her art. She strives to express this intensity through her glowing expressions and exquisite techniques. Julia repeatedly depicts her uprising throughout white canvases to capture the essence of life with every vivid brushstroke. She continually strives to express this intensity through her colorful expressions and masterful techniques. Her art can be found in galleries, special exhibitions, and private collections throughout the world.
